Dedicated CBP Webpage for “Strengthening Customs Enforcement”
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) launched a special webpage regarding its implementation of the June 3 Executive Order 14411, “Strengthening Customs Enforcement”, which directs importers to provide more detailed information about their ownership, business operations, and supply chain, as well as maintain good standing with the agency to continue importing into the United States.
Through the E.O., along with Importers, customs brokers will also be held to higher standards and be required to conduct greater due diligence with their importers. In addition, this new CBP webpage includes FAQs regarding the E.O. All Importers are encouraged to monitor this webpage for E.O. background information and implementation updates.
